    • OUTDOOR FIELD RENTALS - UPDATE: June 5, 2020 13:46​​ 

    • Dear Apex Community, Our mission at the Apex Park and Recreation District is to enhance the health of our community – socially, emotionally, and physically – by being a gathering place and trusted resource for a variety of activities and programs that connect people and improve their quality of life. We are committed to continuing this mission on behalf of our community through these unprecedented and challenging times.

    • Due to the Safer at Home and Great Outdoors orders issued by the State of Colorado and Jefferson County, and based upon the plan issued by Governor Polis detailing a phased approach, we are excited to announce we are going to slowly open Apex facilities and programs on a rolling, phased basis according to recommendations and regulations that guide activities in our facilities and programs.

    • Registration and more information about all openings will be available in the coming days, please check back to apexprd.org for more information. Note that all facilities and programs will be strictly enforcing safety guidelines.

    • The following will open on June 5:

      • FIELDS:

        • We can now offer field permitting to user groups for up to 25 people per field.

  • BRIGHTON - NO NEW UPDATES June 8, 2020

    • The City has made the decision to reopen all facilities, complexes and parks at the earliest June 1st.​ ​UPDATE 5/4/20

      • Unfortunately, we have not had any additional updates. ​5/14/20

    • City Council is voting to determine what facilities will reopen and how "capacity" will be defined once we reopen. ​UPDATE 5/4/20

    • We are hoping with updates from the Governor and direction from City Council we will have a better understanding of what we will be required from tournaments to run and the number of people we will allow. ​UPDATE 5/4/20

      • We are still waiting on any updates from Tri-County and/or Governor with regard to any changes or updates.​ ​UPDATE 5/14/20

  • ERIE - UPDATE: June 8, 2020

    • Erie Recreational Department is postponing/suspending all in-house youth and adult sport leagues, contractual programs, field and tournament rentals and all other programming until at least May 26th.

    • During this time period our Department will be evaluating and reassessing all programs and health concerns for our participants and overall community.

    • JUNE EVENTS ARE CANCELLED AT THIS TIME

  • FT LUPTON - UPDATE: June 5, 2020

    • With the latest release, groups of no more than 25 per field (excluding coaches and umps), spectators must keep their distance, no sharing of equipment.

    • We had irrigation issues at the field, but that is being resolved.  We have a youth clinic starting out there in a few weeks, but thinking we can start games in July.
