All USSSA rules will be followed unless otherwise noted.
An approved USSSA Optic Yellow Ball will be used.
This is a USSSA Girl’s Class B State Tournament.
The top 2 teams in each age group will have the opportunity to advance
to the USSSA World Series.
Coaches or a representative must check-in before the start
of their first game.
Team awards will be given to the top 4 teams in each age group.
An MVP & CO-MVP will be selected by the coaches and/or players at the
completion of the Championship game.
Each
team must field a legal team for every game.
(Rule 5 – Section 2)
Teams must have a completed roster & may be required to show proof of
age to answer questions of eligibility.
No warm-up practice on the infield (inside the baselines) before the
game.
Time Limit is One Hour 15 minutes, except for the Championship games.
Championship games will be one hour 30 minutes or seven innings.
No inning will start after time has expired. An inning begins
immediately after the third out of the preceding inning.
The Umpires on the field will keep the official time.
International Tie-Breaker rule will be used after time has expired or 7
innings have been completed for all tied bracket games.
Game time is forfeit time
unless a team is delayed by a late
running game.
Teams that play back to back will be allowed reasonable time to change
fields if necessary.
Team listed 1st in the pool or top of the bracket
,
will occupy the third base dugout, unless playing back-to-back games.
On-Deck batter will occupy circle near team’s dugout.
Run rule will be in effect for all games including the Championship
game. Games will end when a team leads by:
10 runs after 3 innings
8 runs after 4 innings
6 runs after 5 innings.
10 and under will use 6 runs or 3 outs per inning, dropped 3rd
strike is an out, ball remains live, infield fly rule is in effect.
Championship game will remain one hour 15 minutes.
A coin toss by the umpire before each game will determine the home team.
Each team will submit a complete line-up to the Umpire and the opposing
team’s scorekeeper.
Home Team will be the official Score Keeper.
Winning team will be responsible for reporting the score to the scorers
table.
If a game is called before 4 innings (3 1/2 if the home team is ahead)
are completed, the game will be resumed at the point of interruption.
Otherwise, interrupted games will be considered a complete game at the point
of interruption.
Prior to leaving the dugout at the completion of your game:
Each team is asked to clean up their respective dugouts.
Spectators are requested to pick up their trash in the stands.
By entering this tournament, you agree to participate at your own risk
and will not hold the local park, recreation department sponsoring group, or
anyone else, responsible for any injury.
This is a non- protest tournament.
Any disputes will be settled by the Umpires and/or the UIC before play
resumes. THEIR DECISION IS FINAL!
Sportsmanship: Coaches, Players and Spectators
Coach Ejection: Remainder of game plus the following game, carries over
to next tournament.
Spectator Ejection: Remainder of game plus the following game, carries
over to the next tournament.
Player Ejection: Remainder of game plus the next game. Ejected player
remains in the dug out.
Any offense may result in game forfeit or removal from the tournament.
Coaches are responsible for players and spectators.
A Coach and Player that are ejected for the illegal substitution rule
are benched for the remainder of that game.
Jewelry:
AT NO TIME WILL PLAYERS BE ALLOWED TO WEAR JEWELRY OF ANY KIND.
ONLY EXCEPTION IS - MEDICAL BRACELETS OR CHAINS.
AT NO TIME WILL PLAYERS BE ALLOWED TO TAPE OVER JEWELRY.
IF A PLAYER WILL NOT REMOVE HER JEWELRY, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO
PLAY.
PLAYERS CAUGHT BREAKING THIS RULE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME.
In case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to complete the
tournament.
If schedule changes occur, team officials are responsible for contacting
tournament officials to find out such changes.

Tournament officials reserve the right to change the tournament format
and guaranteed number of games due to bad weather.
